Kate Johns has loved animals and dogs since she was a young child. She took that passion for animals and earned a BA from the College of Wooster in Wooster, Ohio in Biology. She is a certified dog trainer through Animal Behavior College. She lives at her home in Glen Ellyn, IL with her son and two dogs, River and Koda.
Dogs really are Kate’s life! She also works full time in Geneva, IL at DePAW pet resort as a senior supervisor and loves working with all the dogs that come in for boarding, training, and daycare!
When not busy working, animals and family dominate most of her free time. She enjoys writing, relaxing and watching TV, and exploring the many wonderful forest preserves of the area.
