Consultations
We believe it’s very important for dog owners to be able to work with a trainer that they feel comfortable with. This is why we offer free initial Obedience and Behavior Modification consultations. During this 15-30 minute meeting, which takes place in your home, the trainer will observe your dog, and then you and a trainer will sit down and talk about what you would like to get out of your training lessons. From this point, the trainer will come up with a plan that fits your schedule.

Breed Consultations
Ever wonder what your dog was bred for? Is your dog destroying your house? Sometimes doing the right activities can help curb unwanted behavior, and the dog has fun as well! During this consultation, Kate Johns will talk with you about your breed of dog (We can do mixed breeds as well!), their history, what they were bred for, and come up with activities to help you integrate their natural instincts into your life.
Fee: $15.00
Finding Your Dog
Do you know someone who wants a dog but doesn’t know where to start? Is it you? Have your needs changed since your last dog? Sit down with Kate Johns and talk about the different breeds that may fit your lifestyle. We will also talk about the financial aspects for new time dog owners as well as tips about finding a breeder or what to look for at your local shelter!
